So a spin-off game of a mobile game on the 3ds made Nintendo's Stock Skyrocket? What has the world come to

Puzzles & Dragons dwarfs everything. It's the new king of the Japanese gaming market. There is nothing that comes close to it.

So its like another Monster Hunter then?

It's like MonHun x3-4 with greater appeal across age groups and genders? The game alone brings in more money than almost every publisher combined.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

This is how big P&D is over on mobile
In 2012, the game earned a revenue of ¥14.599 billion[49] (equivalent to $183 million). In 2013, it earned another ¥148.584 billion[49] (equivalent to $1.86 billion). In the first half of 2014 (from January to June), the game earned another ¥84.87 billion[50] (equivalent to $1.06 billion). This adds up to a total revenue of ¥248.053 billion (equivalent to $3.11 billion, or $3.19 billion with inflation), as of June 2014.

No wonder everyone is excited. Finally something to boost the abysmal 3DS sales in Japan.
