if Sony manages to make a profit with the devices then this is not a "dumb" decision, but trying to sell another mainstream priced device which never generates any profits due to lots of competition from companies that can produce at even lower costs would imo be pretty "dumb" at this point

Yeah, that doesn't seem dumb to me. I have absolutely no interest in the product (literally not a spec), but expensive products aimed at niche markets that appreciate the thing being offered (in this case super high quality audio) can often gerate respectable amuts of profit. It's amazing how much people can be willing to spend for the things they value :p *stares at his gaming PC*

I dont like Nintendos use of virtual console, online infrastructure and lack of 3rd party games.

I dont like Sonys abandonment of the Vita, they way they copy a lot of other companies and take less risks towards innovation.

I dont like Xbox for making online pay based subscription service, popularizing other practices, having consoles that breakdown more often than others and for having the least amount of appealing exclusives of all three.

I'd say that the Vita's situation has gotten worse, not better, and anything good that comes to the system is more due to 3rd parties and the Vita's dedicated audience than anything Sony is doing to help.

I hate Microsoft for numerous reasons. The main reason why I dislike Microsoft it that since 2002 that have done nothing but damage. These include but are not limited to " making paid online a thing and paying for exclusives." I am also almost sure that rumours of a brand new Microsoft console back in 2000 could have helped to kill the Dreamcast and Sega.

I'm mad at Sega for leaving me lost in life after they abandoned making hardware. I wa so depressed I stopped gaming for 2 years. Then started playing their exclusive Xbox games and thought that it might not be too bad going third party. So I started believing in them again. Now they have stopped localization of a lot of their games and it pisses me off. It's like they don't want me to love them on purpose.

Don't dislike any really. I think all three have shown to have moments of brilliance and moments of "wtf are you thinking." I do of course have my preferences, but I don't think there's anything wrong with that unless it starts to cloud your judgment.

I dislike Nintendo because they don't contribute anything to the industry as evidenced with the Wii U and the gamepad debacle. Weak graphics and gimmicks, no thanks.

Also I am an adult who prefers his adult experiences in the medium. Nintendo has nothing to offer me.

Sony has mismanaged just about everything with the Vita after launch, but this isn't true. Sony is doing a great deal of work with and for those third parties which is why those games are coming. They've even done the actual development of some titles for 3rd party publishers (Borderlands 2 Vita).
