Forums - Gaming - On the Sony doesn't support Vita

Sony games never push hardware, NOPE , that is in comparison to 3rd parties , their relevance is much less

Sony console success is relaint on 1 thing : 3rd PARTIES

IF 3RD PARTIES DON'T GET BEHIND A SONY CONSOLE ITS DEAD , they are what define sony consoles

the moves sony ddint make IMO

getting a monster hunter remake

enough games from capcom in dev before the vita release : dmc , a megaman ,a monster hunter remake , maybe another street fighter

the cod game being made along with a sequel in development same thing with ass creed games

square enix to have a DQ remake and FF remake ( 5 , 6 & 7) and throw in a hitman into it

GTA vita should have been in the works

Gran Turismo 6 shoulda been GT vita

GOW ascension along with Pupetter should have been vita games

android support and call support should HAVE been inside , would have been much bigger , HUGE IMO

the sony games thing IMO is a silly arguement when IMO the 1st 2 years they really really tried to push it with their games

Yes that what i think but nobody want to understand that

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

It's Sony's fault for not getting third party games on Vita

Well third parties aren't supporting it either, so...

Well... If Sony supported the Vita, they would have paid third parties to develop games for the vita... FF Type-0 is coming to the ps4. Type-0 is a PsP game, there is no reason why Sony couldn't have paid square to port the game to the Vita as well but did they? Nope. Heck, if they truly wanted to support the Vita, they would have made FF Type-0 exclusive to the Vita but offered anyone that bought FF Type-0 on the Vita demo keys to the FFXV demo on the ps4. And Sony could have paid SE to do that.

And there are plenty of other examples of that happening as well... Instead of Sony paying Gearbox to do a half-ass port of a 2 year old game, they could have told them to port Borderlands the Pre-Sequel instead which is a new game

So yes, Sony's support on the Vita is still bad cause they aren't even trying much anymore. Yes, there are some indie games which are avaliable on virtually every other platform except for like one and like spin-off of a spin-off version of RE coming to the vita but nothing of much importance for most people to spend $200+ on a handheld.

Heck, Gravity Rush 2, a sequel to the Vita launch game, might be coming to the ps4 instead of the Vita! Sony could have made that for the Vita but it sure as hell doesn't look like they will. Sony's support is laughable at best

its kinda ridiculous that there will be a new Fate Stay Night rpg on ios and android and not on Vita..

think about that.. Its pretty clear the audience is gone already.. and NOTHING will get them back.. I don't think any move from Sony would have gotten them back..

These are not valid excuses for the embarassing support for the vita. If your console isn't selling well and 3rd parties are not rallying behind, then it's the consoles makers responsibility to provide games for the userbase. It's not good enough to sweep it under the rug.
