Well... If Sony supported the Vita, they would have paid third parties to develop games for the vita... FF Type-0 is coming to the ps4. Type-0 is a PsP game, there is no reason why Sony couldn't have paid square to port the game to the Vita as well but did they? Nope. Heck, if they truly wanted to support the Vita, they would have made FF Type-0 exclusive to the Vita but offered anyone that bought FF Type-0 on the Vita demo keys to the FFXV demo on the ps4. And Sony could have paid SE to do that.
And there are plenty of other examples of that happening as well... Instead of Sony paying Gearbox to do a half-ass port of a 2 year old game, they could have told them to port Borderlands the Pre-Sequel instead which is a new game
So yes, Sony's support on the Vita is still bad cause they aren't even trying much anymore. Yes, there are some indie games which are avaliable on virtually every other platform except for like one and like spin-off of a spin-off version of RE coming to the vita but nothing of much importance for most people to spend $200+ on a handheld.
Heck, Gravity Rush 2, a sequel to the Vita launch game, might be coming to the ps4 instead of the Vita! Sony could have made that for the Vita but it sure as hell doesn't look like they will. Sony's support is laughable at best
