we still don't have figures for the last two weeks of 2014, so by the end of 2014 according to vgchartz's numbers. 600k will either happen in those last two weeks, or it'll happen by the end of this month.

Ohhh...

 

In that case I expect it to pass the million soon. It's only been out a couple months and it's already at 500k. The reviews it's gotten, coupled with the holiday sales will have boosted numbers as well.

did you ever try vanquish? the platinum game for people who don't like platinum games... i think. (also: okami. tho they weren't yet called platinum, but it's the same folks.)

so this kind of stuff happens over time. not even hyrule warriors has hit a million (it will soon). same with wind waker hd--didn't hit even 800k first year, now comfortably over 1m. same with bayonetta 2. it's not a matter of faith, just look at the weekly numbers. it's outselling the ps3 and 360 original on a week by week basis by a lot.

540k in 2 months and a week is nothing to sneer at. without counting digital sales (reggie says around 10%...).

I did actually when it was free.  It was probably my favorite of theirs but very short and while I love the cheeseball storyline (intentionally so) and the crazy combat but it was a little clunky and I ended up using the same moves over and over.  I don't like many hacknslash other than GoW which I've platinumed all 6 games of.

It should be outselling the original, it was released 5-6 years ago on two consoles that are now on the road out.

Actually, it's overtracked in the US, but is heavely UNDERTRACKED in Europe! 60,000 sold by November in France, possibly similar numbers in Germany, and was a #1 in Amazon Spain, is obviously on Spot, may reach 1 million by 2016.
