To everyone saying Star Fox has one good game, SF on SNES is brilliant, and back in the day was such an amazing feat! And Adventures on GCN receives hate nowadays, but back in the day everyone was praising it, RareWare's last gem they used to call it. And it's a great game, not a shooter, but a fantastic adventure game with incredibly nice art and graphics...

And I'm saying it again, Fox was already a Hero ten years before Ratchet was even a sketch!

Go Fox McLoud! Mission Complete!

Fox had his legs voluntarily amputated to become a better pilot. That's commitment.

I also have the sensation that fox is more well known than Ratchet, but no prove of that.

Fox is supposed to be such a good pilot, but he doesn't even know the difference between a barrel roll and an aileron roll. SMH.

I like to think that the whole Star Fox crew knows Peppy Hare is senile and crazy in his old age but just goes along with it anyway.

Toe Jam and Earl.

OT: I think Fox is better in space, however, I doubt he can beat Ratchet on ground.

Ratchet has better consistency in game quality, but Fox and the Star Fox universe is more interesting and cool to me. A Star Fox game that dares to be something more than a space shooter, done like something in between Ratchet and Mass Effect but still with plenty of Arwing action, would blow Ratchet out of the water for me. Star Fox is just a more interesting character and universe to me.

Eh. The original Star Fox I'm sure was amazing for it's time, but it has aged very poorly and is nearly unplayable after Star Fox 64. Adventures, on the other hand, was a fine looking game and quite polished, but it was also extremely boring.

I loved it. Do you find Zelda boring, by chance? Because to me, it's a better Zelda game than some actual Zelda games. But that's not the only reason I like it as a Star Fox game. Ifeel like planetary exploration is a necessary evolution for the future success of the franchise. Preferably with more than one planet and some sort of threat of system-wide war as per usual with Star Fox games, but the exploring the vast planet and meeting diverse cultures and races, that's something I'd like to see more of. Imagine Adventures scaled down, but the entire thing is just a small bit of mercenary work the Star Fox team picked up on the side,  and there are two dozen other planets with as much content as Dinosaur Planet, and plenty of missions to run in space as well. All the while, you're uncovering a sinister scheme to take over the galaxy, and you work to thwart it. Like in Adventures, you would actually meet the people you're saving, rather than just "trust us, this is an inhabited system of planets by more than just that one dog general you talk to, your pals, Wolf's team, and a bunch of guys in ships. There are totally people on that planet. Please give a shit about them." That's the strength of Adventures, there's a real sense that someone is really counting on you to save their planet.

Fox is a badass on the ground too, just watch the Death Battle with Bucky O' Hare. That said, Ratchet has enough fire power that he would kill Fox in an instant. There are dozens of R&C series guns that would OHKO Fox, and probably at least a dozen that could do so whether he was using his reflector or not, and would also make his speed a non-factor.

Ratchet's games are fun enough, but I don't actually like Ratched as a character. Come to think of it, I could say the same thing about Fox and his games. They both suck. Samus ftw.

Yeah, Samus has better games, better recognition, and a better body!
