Forums - Nintendo - R.I.P. Wrecking Crew, Wuhu Island, and Windy Hill Zone. <(T_T<)

Looks like the same issue that left me without Mario Kart 8 for two months is happening yet again, this time with Smash Bros., even giving me the same exact error code and again was first discovered while playing online. After the crash I immediately played on all the stages to figure out which stages died. The levels that crash the game this time funnily enough all start with W, being Wrecking Crew, a stage I never liked anyway, aswell as Wuhu Island and Windy Hill Zone, stages that will very much be missed. Well missed until I send the game in for a replacement of course, but this time I'm gonna hold off in case it takes them another two months, instead I'll wait until more games release that can fill the hole Smash would leave behind such as Mario Maker n Splatoon. Also, now that this has happened a second time to a different game, it's obviously my Wii U that's messing up the game disc, but I'll wait until it happens a third time before having to do the most unfortunate option.

Tl,dr; The stages in the thread title will crash my Wii U, so if we play together, don't choose them!

Not sure what's funny about this. -_-

You mean playing the game? Both times this has happened was around the 150 hour playtime mark so I wonder if that could actually have something to do with it.

Well, clearly, there has to be another issue cause I am sure many people have played it for 150 hours if not more. Do you like eject the disc a lot and put it in its case? Or maybe the wiiU disc reader is broken or something and u should get it checked

Wow, I've never seen or heard of this issue before. How bizarre. Especially considering it's happened with both MK and Smash...

You're just gonna have to take my word for it that I treat it no differently than all the other consoles I own/owned which were all fine, plus the cause doesn't matter at this point anyway with the damage already done and having already planned on sending the console itself in if it messes up another game.

I've never heard about this before. Sorry about that...
