And it is crazy because I hear that but just don't like Halo....it is odd. This might sound crazy to some but I would say try Halo 4 if you have not. I am playing through it righ now in the Master Chief Collection and I think its the best games ever made. Thats why I am so excited to see Halo Guardians single player.

If ps gamers want an exact halo type game they will get an xbox. It's like saying will xbox ever get gran tourism or uncharted game. They will get a ps4 if they wanted.

The real world isn't that simple. What if you like Halo but also like the look of Uncharted? How about you throw Zelda, Mario, God of War, Gears of War, Fable, Titanfall, Infamous, Little Big Planet etc in the mix. There are people like me who tend to get every system, but most people I know limit themselves to one; it doesn't mean there aren't other experience on other consoles that entice them.

Maybe start with the local Multiplayer? Thats how I got into it! Get 4 controllers and its the best couch experience next to Mario Kart and Smash Bros.

Those games are nothing like Halo other then being FPS and featuring Sci-fi elements. You might aswell compare Final Fantasy to Dragon Age :/

I have never played Reach or 4 so I might have to do that asap to see if I can get into the series. Thanks Vasto!

I tried the local MP on 1-3 and it just didn't capture me but Vasto suggested 4 and I have never played Reach but a lo tof players who were nto big on Halo say they loved Reach so I am going to give 4 and Reach a try asap!

Hmm, you think Perfect Dark and Golden Eye are the best FPS games ever made? Have you tried Timesplitters? If not you really should. The Timesplitters games remind me quite a bit of Perfect Dark and are tonnes of fun

Does the next Mass Effect count? Insomniac could probably make Disruptor 2 or new Resistance, perhaps Ratchet & Clank remake for PS4 could do the trick? I mean it all depends on what you mean by "Halo-like". If you mean COD:AW with aliens and space and stuff, then perhaps we won't see anything quite "Halo-like" in years. =D
