Next week sales may rise, considering the week will include a few days before christmas and boxing day sales but it might not happen. If it doesn't, no console made a 1m week in December (pre adjustments of course) for the first time since VGC has been tracking. UK charts showed a good % increase for software on christmas week though

No adjustments for last week. I really doubt PS4 and XB1 dropped that week.

Edit: The identical week endings of 2008 show everything down 10-15%, with 2009 (ending 26th) everything was up marginally, with ps3 being down 2% (and sold 1,008,546 that week :O)


hmmm will be interesting to see next weeks numbers, and if PS4 can break a million then, doubt it will with everything that has been said.

Incase you missed it, but the reason ps3 was down, was because Japan was down ~150k as FFXIII released the week beforehand, so the west was up quite a bit, so it'll be interesting. I think we've had some monstrous boxing day sales this year compared to prior years, so I'm expecting flat/up for the PS4

Someone posts the adjustments to previous weeks, that ps4 increase doesnt seem to match the total increase.
