Well, nevermind. When I looked at he numbers I forgot those were combined with Canada. US only numbers look way more realistic.

At first I thought they would be higher but then I considered the fact most people will have bought the console to wrap for Christmas, so I think it's going to be slighly lower.

Some people can't still realize VGC numbers are just an estimate.   We have to wait for OFFICIAL FIGURES.  Hopefully Sony will annouce today the 20M sold by Jan the 1st :)

Sales rise continuously until Christmas Eve, generally, with 2010 and 2011 weekly's being up 5%-10% in the week directly before Christmas (though the weeks ended the 25th and 24th respectively). So I'd expect sales to be flat/slightly up with 21/22/23/24 of dec being higher daily numbers than the prior week, with Christmas sales being relatively none exhistant in some parts of the world, Boxing day sales being fairly high, and the 27th the sale start dropping.

Edit: The identical week endings of 2008 show everything down 10-15%, with 2009 (ending 26th) everything was up marginally, with ps3 being down 2% (and sold 1,008,546 that week :O) Note: FFXIII released the week before and Japan sales were a quarter of a million!

Good week for PS4/Xbone. December 27th numbers will probably show both consoles near 1M.

It's crazy to think that PS4 will sell 15M during 2014 alone. These are results better than the best year of PS3 in the Market in 2011.
