Expect PS4 sold through announcements and a rollout of PlayStation Vue. They have dozens of channels confirmed from CNN to VH1 to MTV and BET, Comedy Central, Science and Discovery and more.

We just need prices.
How much would you be willing to pay to ditch the cable box in favor of TVoIP?

I don't understand. Don't you already have IPTV?

Or is it just a European thing?

I have IPTV for about 6 years, I didn't realize it is something innovative.

It is not innovative and has been around for some time outside of the US...

...but here in the States, PlayStation Vue  would be the first of its kind.   In the US, our media conglomerates have been resisting TVOIP forever in an attempt to lock us into the cable companies.  The companies charge high rates for sub HD service and equipment fees. Comcast charges $40 a month for standard broadcast channels and a converter box.  Standard Cable (non HD) is $69.99 a mouth (before taxes and  equipment fees) and if you want their Digital Perfected (HD) package it's $107 with HBO.  And it doesn't stop there. You will be paying more if you want Internet service or sports packages.

So in the end, it's not just about the tech, it's about the fact that even if Sony charges $50 a month, it will still be much cheaper and more channels for a ton of folks.

Holy crap!! That is just horrible!

How do you guys stand for that rip-off?

I pay 35€ per month for unlimited phone, unlimited internet and about 100 TV channels...to think of those prices you say makes me dizzy...

Yeah, they just sent me a letter with the latest rate increases.  It's straight up robbery but where I live, there are really no alternatives and if you live in a apartment,  most do not allow satellites to be afixed to the property.  This is why I want PlayStation Vue to be successful.  The cable companies are out of control. We need competition badly.

Funny, we are likely going to hear a 20M sold announcement in a few hours. guess VGC can realize and adjust their numbers properly after the announcement.

They will announce the PSP3 With HD Holographic capabilities. Release date: Oct 7th 2016. Price 239$

When does it start?

Thank goodness I don't watch TV that much

But yeah, that's such a rip-off and if Sony gets the subscription pricing right for PS Vue, then it'll be a much, much better alternative to many consumers.

Oh okay it's tomorrow, almost a day to wait
