Out of the top games, Only Pokemon+MH fit your statement. SSB for both systems is a franchise that releases every 6-8 years. DQ is made by SE, yet your praising them for FF, which btw have 3-5 games releasing in a 3-5 month period so your statement contradicts itself already... Knack is new IP, YW sales mostly only came from 2014, which is impressive overall.

Lastly Mario Party isnt an annual release sooo..... MK is once per console+HH so thats thrown out the window and finally Kirby which the last real game that came out for the franchise was back in 2011 :-/

I just think this so called dead gaming exist because of Nintendo dominating this year. No need to get mad, many sony games did extremely well. FW is an example, new IP and huge sales.


There's a DQ game. There are the Pokemon games. There are the MH games. There are the Mario games. There's already been 3 Yokai Watch 2 editions.

DQ is from SE, yet you just praised them for FF? (which will be having 4+ games next year).

Like i said before SSB+MK8 = once per console.  Last Mario Party  was 2011, Pokemon+MH are almost annual franchises (i have a feeling if MH was on Vita you wouldn't  be complaining lol) so its always going to be like COD/AC/etc.

Its funny that your complaining about this as its Nintendomation. It really gets to you huh? :-/

I'd suggest this is actually a bad thing. The huge differences between east and west are causing problems in the industry and it limits the number of games we get to experience.

??? YW came out last year but didn't sell as much then this year. YW1 sold over 1mil this year, YW2 sold over 3mil+, and YW2.5 sold 2mil+ (will).

Over 6mil shipped for the franchise.
