Because Japanese develoeprs release the same thing thing over and over again. Hopefully, SE got their act together with FF and Atlus with Persona 5.

People like the same thing... Just look at the sales charts...

That doesn't stop new IPs like Destiny, TitanFall, Watch Dogs, etc. from doing well.

??? YW came out last year but didn't sell as much then this year. YW1 sold over 1mil this year, YW2 sold over 3mil+, and YW2.5 sold 2mil+ (will).

Over 6mil shipped for the franchise.
