I am speechless. At best devils third may become a "not-totally-crappy-kind-of.interesting" game. But all we have seen so far looks pretty shitty (from a gameplay perspective). I mean it looks like a "rather not well done free to play game" and still some people here are praising it to heaven and back....
Seriously if this was a multiplat not a single fuck would be given about this thing. However this is a nintendo exclusive so it has to be great....Well i call bullshit. This game look horrible from both gameplay and graphics. Now don´t get my wrong I´m definitely not a Nintendo fan anymore (check my games). But I acknowledge good games (like Bayonetta 2...dang me jealous) and this seems like a really shitty game.

I for one am hype for this game. So far I'm loving its concept and what it promises to deliver regarding multuplayer.

As for the ones saying it looks that bad, 1st of all, yeah it doesn't look great at least compared to PS4/X1 titles which is kinda the benchmark for the ones callint it ugly. But it isn't on those consoles, it's for WiiU which is weaker, so for those it will always look ugly. Some of the people saying that are the ones who say Mario Kart looks ugly and actually it looks and plays great. 2nd of all I'm more interested on how it will play, I'm not that interested in its visual fidelity which will never be anything special. Just make it nice looking and I'm fine with it.
Instead of being AC Unity beautiful and AC Unity unoptimized I'd rather it is Devil's Third ugly and Devil's Third optimized (what I mean is I hope it plays well like I said before *crosses fingers*). Sadly that's just me and definetly not the most of the gaming community...

Don't put words into the mouths of Nintendo fans. Most of them are not hyped for this game.

Well I´m going by this topic´s genral responses (and some others I´ve seen in the last couple months). However I am utterly shocked you didn´t like bayo 2 oO What exactly was wrong with the game in your opinion? (don´t go the sexist route as that´s kinda boring)

Uninteresting story, ugly cutscenes and very repetitive gameplay. In the end, all I was doing was mashing the buttons. Sure, I didn't get platinum medals, but why should I?

Well I did like the first one (mainly because it was a non-stop "OMG-WTF-THOSE-JAPANESE-GUYS!!!!!" experience). Is that still there and did it top part one? Or is it essentially the same as Bayo1? (I heard it was WAY better than the first one). Anyways I usually enjoy hack´n slay games so maybe I´ll pick it up once it´s in the bargain bin.
Edit: noticed this is totally off topic. So an actual reason why devils third might flop --------- I don´t think there´s a userbase for it on WiiU

For the record, I'm not praising DT or saying it will definitely be awesome, I'm just saying I'm not going to write it off based on an early build that they probably showed before it was ready just to demonstrate that they had a new M-rated exclusive in the pipeline.
