Also, The Last of Us released in the middle of 2013. No matter how you look at it, that doesn't equal "Over two years ago".

It's not like this year's games will be remade. You saw a lot of 1 year remasters because we had a generational leap in this past year. Coincidence? I think not. If we get a few 1 year after remasters every 7 years (or whenever we make a generational jump) I don't think that's a problem. Would you rather them delay the game just to up port it to the next gen? I would rather have it on both. Release it when you finish it then remaster it for next gen. |

Not like that is going to persist throughout the gen, devs are only doing it now to bridge the time until their next full game comes out and to make some extra cash. |
I agree, this probably isn't a trend that's gonna last, because, why would you need to remaster a game for the same console? Doesn't make sense. But that doesn't mean I have to like what companies have been doing the whole year thus far.
EDIT: aaaaw sorry for posting after the thread was locked =(
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Finally a troll thread good enough to earn derision from foodfather.

Guys remasters arent gping to happen every year. And theyre likely not going to be within gen either unless theyre ports from rival consoles like tales:best edition.
@kowen
persecution? Maybe your own projecting.
ps4 is called the remasterstation. Now tell me, is it the nintendo fans who are barking all of this? They only have a fanbase of 10m. Its just typical fanwar as usual. Just watch e3 again. Oh wait, was it indiestation4? Cant remember over all the angry lambasting.
