Forums - Gaming - If you could make your own game from the ground up..

Would it be about a hero who tries to save the world at great sacrifice to himself or about a weary sniper who goes on mission after mission to try the win the war? A lot of gamers at some point have put some thought into a game that they would like created or their ideal game that they would to play. If you could make your own game from the ground up, any way that you want it, what would it be?

Please describe in as much detail, your ideal game. It could be a continuation of another franchise or a new IP all together. It doesn't need to be a game that would sell well, just a game that you would like to play. It's third-party and on all the platforms. I figured it's best to keep the console war stuff out of it. Let's have some fun with this. I'll go first.

Here's my idea of a new IP, Dark moon. It's a action/rpg and it would be set in modern times. It would be about a male or female protagonist who gets attack by a werewolf during a camping trip in the mountains and becomes one. The object of the game is to survive and live as a werewolf throughout the game world while dealing with other supernaturals and humans. It would be open world and you could be as good or bad as you wanted to in human or werewolf form. As you leveled up, you would gain access to powers in your werewolf and human form. The main story would adapt itself to a evil or nice character. Morality wouldn't be so cut and dry. You would be considered evil or good depending on your motivations behind your actions and if you were seen. The overall game would be pretty violent, bloody and gory. You could have a lot of fun being the monster or just helping people. It would use a similar method to tell the story and get to know the characters as TLOU. I'll go ahead and stop myself before I go into a big rant. haha I figure a game like this wouldn't be a big seller. Maybe have a following like the souls games. There are no werewolf games at all but I've always wanted to play as one. That's just me. What is your game like?

It would be a bit like Zelda 2, Battle of Olympus, Faxanadu and Child of Light.

There's two options:

· A semi-turn based RPG featuring only three main characters whose goal is to explore the world after the civilization they live in manages to build a flying ship. It's impossibru to go through oceans because of a huge monster that devours everything in there, which some likes to call the God of Seas. There would be tons of side characters that join the team, but they would all be temporary friends and not permanent characters of the cast; which would only focus to these three main guys I've said. One, called Golitah, would be the "main" main, which is a more grown-up version of Jude from Tales of Xillia if you have played it, only that he has white hair and glasses. His style of combat would be like Jude/Tifa/Sabin. Then there's the princess of the civilization they came from, and finally, some kind of samurai who's the only person that made it overseas (unable to get back to its home due to water hazard). Princess would use swords, samurai would use a rifle, which is a weapon never seen before.

· The other game would be like an updated, fully interactive Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 version but featuring shemales and bishonnen people. Also, days would be longer, and you could sexualize everything even more.

Can't really debate against there being another rpg. I miss some of those turned based rpg's.

But very rewarding. Especially the flying boots.

Mine would be about the biggest yuri sex game known to man! You will just be a chick going around and having sex with other chicks in 1000s of different ways with 1000s of different customs in various places

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

An RPG with aspects of going back and forwards in time, similar to Chrono Cross. But totally 3D, semi open world affair. Decisions you make in game shape the future and if you want you can to go back and forth between times to right wrongs etc.

PREDICTIONS FOR END OF 2015: (Made Jan 1st 2015)

PS4 - 34M - XB1 - 21m - WII U -12M

I have many ideas for games, I pretty much daydream of them all time.

For a 2D platformer. I suck at names so it doesn't have one yet. I've really been inspired by the "flow motion" mechanic in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, I'd really like to see something similar in a platforming based game, but it'll also would have a high emphasis on building momentum to reach super high speeds akin to the classic Sonic games or make super high jumps akin to Mario. There would be 3 different types of movement, walking, running, and "sliding" or something, running would function the same as in Rayman Origins/Legends, and interacting with the enviroment would produce a sort of glow around your character that would represent that you just started skating/sliding/thatstuff, even though sliding would be the last type of movement you could achieve, your speed would slowly increase as long as you don't stop/get hurt, and you could always interact with more of the enviroment to increase your speed/momentum more rapidly, that includes jumping on enemies, rail griding, unintentional pole dancing, wall-jumping, that sorta stuff. Regarding the art direction, I'd really like the world to be as bright and as "neon-ish" as possible, with varied enviroments but with a style similar of that of Jet Set Radio. Probably would get this gal to the character design if I decided to not do it myself; @squeedgemonster.

An Action RPG. Pretty much FFXV, just add multiple playable characters, a 50+ hours story, a combat system more akin to that of an hackn'slash (A combination of DMC4 and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, preferably), many secret and optional bosses, and a very outlandish setting where creativity can go all out.

An FPS. Steampunk setting, fantasy characters, a lot of variaty when it comes to the weapons and powers, RPG elements similar from those of Bioshock Infinite, world structure similar to that of Metroid Prime, a linear but lenghty and varied singleplayer mode with a good story and deep lore, and a very balanced and replayable multiplayer mode.

I'd go more into detail with the last 2, but I got bored, I probably should copypaste this shit on a Word file in case I forget it. Probably won't, too lazy for that.

I'm now filled with determination.
