Handhelds I think will die. I do not think Sony will make another Vita. I have one and it is great but these days mobile devices are really powerful and probably gaming is getting more popular there.
Consoles I think should last. Obviously serious gaming will be there for at least 1 more gen but it will also serve multiple purpose. Like the all in one box to have more value.
