Making an Xbone exclusive in Japan = sending your game to die and your company with it.

Can't wait for Scalebound to bomb and PG going down

Joke? Entirely different situation xD

Anyways this doesn't surprise me at all, wonder what they were expecting.

i wouldn't worried much. MS has deep pockets and they can always throw their money to Japanese Developers to make any exclusive games even if they're gonna bomb so hard.....just like Tomb Raider.

That's relative. While I admit that some japanese games, being exclusive on Xbox, would have a strong chance of flopping hard; there are japanese developers somewhat satisfied with the Xbox brand. Cave's shumps gathered enough fanbase so that the developer kept pumping those (whoever, I don't know if they'll go on with the Xbox One, given the latest games never got localized).

Idolm@ster, before going multiplat, also enjoyed decent sales on the Xbox. Thing is, I'm talking about the 360 here. Given One's current status, I don't know...

Not very surprising. XOne exclusives flop even in the west, Japanese exclysive had no chance...

Article not even mentionning nitroplus.

Anyhow a VN can't be a system seller.

So Ms paid like 99k sales of the game to justify exclusivity and 1.4k sales only.

And Ryuzaki was talking about XB1 :P

Even by Mages' normal standards, these are some very poor sales.

Impossible, it don't work anymore.

It was ok for the 360 because the ps3 got a very bad start (and was released too late), but these deals nearly killed some compagny like Namco, they won't ever do something similar again for a long time.
