Hmm, I wouldn't count Rayman since its 2013, but looking at that list it looks pretty well deserved. Game had amaxing music, some of the best platform boss battles, except that puffer fish... Ugh.

Well that's hard to believe.... 

Not really, it's pretty obvious what is the best game if you played them all. 

I have over 100 hours on DKC: TF and never even bothered finishing Rayman Legends. All the levels just meld together and I can't distinguish between them. The only thing I remember are the annoying Murphy levels and the great music levels.

100 hours on tropical freeze? What are you even doing? Rayman Legends blows it out of the water.

If I ever buy a Wii U in the future, this is one of the games I really want to try.

Disagree; Rayman, for all its great aspects, was let down by its loose controls. DK by contrast is tight as a bowstring.

Well deserved. It makes me sad that so many Wii U owners ignored Tropical Freeze because it's really a must-have if you have any interest in the platformer genre. The level design is simply amazing; the variation along with Retro's attention to detail makes for a fantastic platformer experience that never gets old. And don't get me started on the soundtrack...


I have a feeling this game will still sell decent enough in the long run.  Probably 1.5 to 2 million lifetime.
