Wait, seriously. Look it up. That's like my least favorite game of all time. People need to know why that game is so bad so it isn't repeated again. You know the stupid Dpad controls of the entire game? Yeah, that was Sakamoto. Team Ninja thought it was a stupid control scheme, but he forced them to do it because he thought good game design came from limitations. Seriously. The story? 100% Sakamoto. They had no input. Team Ninja just did the cutscene animations that were still directed by Sakamoto. The clunkly 1st person idea? Sakamoto. The linearity? Sakamoto.

No. They specialize in a completely different genre of gaming.

Vigil is gone. Some opened a new studio. Others went to Crytek and a couple went to Retro Studios

Sure. Link jacking cars and picking up prostitutes just might add some needed zest to the series.

It would definitely shake up the formula in more ways than one.

Naughty Dog, Team ICO, Rare and Capcom could most likely make really nice Zelda games as well. Better? Well, that's a difficult question. But for example Zelda Minish Cap (by Capcom) is one of my favourite Zelda games, so I do hold it higher than many Zelda's by Nintendo themselves. So of course it is possible.

As long as I would not get any spin-offs like "Zelda: Nuts & Bolts" or have to wait a decade for "Zelda: The Last Guardian" I think it would be fine.

But would a Zelda game suffer if it went mutliplatform? Probably.

How can be people answering Yes to this question? really HOW can somebody think that Rockstar could make a better Zelda game than the company  that has created and has made Zelda the best saga ever? Ocarina of Time, A link to the past, Wind Waker... If is the greatest saga ever is obvioulsy because Nintendo, if somebody else could do something that good they would already done.

Possibly, but I would say Nintendo has the better chance of crafting the better Zelda game. I have not played a Zelda since Wind Waker, but I did love it, and all the previous Zelda"s I have played. Rockstar is an awesome dev, who knows, but Zelda is not their forte.
