That's an average playtime of 67 hours per person! Holy shit!

Which I don't really believe at all. At least I hope not lol! Having the "mean" instead of average would be more interesting. Or a boxplot.

Why would you hope not? How does it affect you if other people are enjoying this game and playing it for a long time?

Gaming too much isn't good for your health. ;)

Played Destiny non-stop from launch until Dragon Age, platinumed DA, then beat Far Cry and now I am back and addicted as ever. My raid group smashed the new raid 3x times in about 2.5 hours (one clear took maybe 25 min, we never wiped)

New raid complements the old raid very well. The sub classess the were worthless in the last raid are now the best in this raid. So flad I can use Striker and Arc Blade on this raid so much fun to play.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

67 hours for a game that released in September isn't even that bad. That's only about 2 hours per day.

But I think it's safe to say you aren't worried about anyones health.

It's pretty bad if that's the AVERAGE of 13 million people. Do you know how the average works? Outliers have a lot of influence on it.

It really isn't that bad at all. People are enjoying the game. When you're having fun with a game don't you ever lose track of time? I know I do, I finished TLOU in one sitting cause it was so damn good and by the end of it I didn't even realize I had been playing for like 12 hours.

No, I have chronic chest pain, I have a pretty good grasp of time. I can't even play 12 hours straight without being in major pain. Need to walk it off every couple of hours lol.

So yeah, my health concerns are real. ;)

Somehow, I don't find these numbers impressive at all. The level of hype, the game being available on 360/PS3/X1/PS4/PC and also being heavily bundled, should have generated alot more sales than this. I think Activision would agree as well.

Don't kid yourself... there is no PC version... and the PS4 bundle at least have the game at the cost of $50... it is not free.

As I said, numbers aren´t that impressive.

500 people? Jeez, they need to work on their effiency. I've seen much better games being made with 40 people.

A lot less overhead when you have less people working on something.
