Comparisons aren't about making the PS3 or PSP look good by themselves or cherry picking who to compare them to. It's about looking at real world trends and the effect of brand name strength and the particular direction the market is moving in that said region.
That said not every thread that isn't blatant Sony worship is bashing Sony either. This is a sales tracking website and such topics regardless whom they benefit. Truth is Truth. Reality is Reality. Throwing a fuss over this thread is tandamount to saying, "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."
You can't hide from the truth, you can only discuss it and exchange ideas on it.
