Hey, Nintendo fans, i am working on my Wii U collection, and i have about 25 games.. still missing a few. I also really like collectors editions and things that come in a big box. Games i have in big boxes include: Zelda: WW, Smash Bros, Wii Fit, Wii Party.. and I think that is it. I was searching online for what other things I might be missing, and I came across a HUGE bit of news, and that is the Hyrule Warriors collectors edition that was announced and made available at the Nintendo World Store. I searched on eBay for it, and people are trying to sell the fucking thing for $800 and up.

So this leads into my question.. what is the best way to get news for what versions will be available for purchase for upcoming Wii U titles? My fear is that some of the less popular games may have alternative versions you can buy in a bigger box but it might not be that well known that you can do that since they are.. well, smaller titles. Where do people find this news? Is there a thread on VGChartz that I can bookmark that keeps up to date with these things?

Most big titles comes in a special edition of some sort.. just have an open eye and search the internet when big name titles approach.

This website regularly updates all video game special editions. Although I find out about Nintendo sp editions from other threads/Official Nintendo fb posts/dedicated Nintendo websites like Nintendolife or mynintendonews.

I'm a total fool for collectors edition products. It gets crazy expensive. Good thing I got the extra money to burn.

You can get a version of Lego City Undercover that comes with a Chase McCain figure, it is packaged in a big collectors box that you like. I bought it on launch.
