Your mistake here was going into EB. :P

In the 15 years or so that I've had enough disposable income to buy video games myself, I don't think they've ever been the cheapest option.

Meanwhile, very happy to see lots of people not ruling out Devil's Third.

Yeah I usually buy online or at JB Hi-fi, but I was browsing second hand games this time, looking for a used copy of Mass Effect 3 on Wii U.

Nice! I've been meaning to play the ME series, a friend has lent me the first two for 360. Did you find a copy? I know I've seen it on eBay, new, for about $20.
