Japanese seem to have a pretty shit taste nowadays to be honest. Stuff like Eternal Sonata, Ni no Kuni, Xenoblade and Valkyria Chronicles sold more in the US/Europe (not combined) than it did in Japan, for example =P
Mid-late 2016 is my guess. I'm gonna say mid.

Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

3DS have sold 700K in first half of 2014 for a comparation... o_O
