How does the game being dissapointing to play mean outselling it is not a feat? Sunshine was still one of the three top selling GC games.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
Oh, I'm not saying SMS sold poorly. I'm just saying that it was decidedly one of the weakest 3D Mario games. It's a well-known fact that game quality has virtually no corollary to how well it sells.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

As for Sunshine: I liked that game better than both Galaxy and 64. I really wish Nintendo would have used more gameplay elements from Sunshine in Galaxy.
