No they under cut the X1 without Kinect by a huge margin. You can get a Vita plus PS4 for less than the X1. Couple that with the better China games line up and it being the more popular brand for gaming in Asia Sony will surely sell multiple times more PS4's than the X1. Sony gonna get a nice boost to their WW lead come Jan into Feb the chinese new year.

There's both a Kinectless and Kinect version of the Xbox One available in China. Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita prices in China, and converted to USD:
PS4 without PS Camera: 2.899RMB = $468.56
PS4 with PS Camera: 3.299 = $533.06
PS Vita: 1.299RMB = $210.10XB1 without Kinect: 3.699RMB = $597.86
XB1 without Kinect: 3.699RMB = $597.86
XB1 with Kinect: 4.299 RMB = $694.83
As you can see the PS4 is way cheaper than the XB1 in China, you could even get a PS4 + PS Vita for less than a XB1 with Kinect.

Will be interesting to see how PlayStation performs in China.

Looks like PlayStation has what it needs to succeed in China: Some Chinese-developed games. I'm not sure what Xbox One had when it launched there.
