Forums - Nintendo - Toad is doing awesome in Japan!

Yeah, this game is selling surprisingly well. I guess that could be because of the positive reception the game has recieved.

I hope it does, still has 4 weeks of Xmas sales left in Japan so 100k is definitely within reach.

We just need a Toad Amiibo now.

Indeed. A Toad amiibo would be great and would probably fly off the shelves too!

As for the topic, yes 100k sounds possible.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Yeah, seriouly Nintendo. I want that too. He is in MK8. Come on.

Its what I expected. Carried by the Nintend/Mario brand, but not comparable to a proper mario release though

That's not really awesome. I hate to be that guy but those sales are weak, since the game is a nintendo, mario branded game.

I dont see Mario in that title^ :)

Sales are good, not every mario spin off needs to be 300k+

Also did awesome in my house :)
This game is really good, hope they will bring a lot of DLC.

How is 65 or 100K a great performance for a Nintendo game during Xmas period?

Look at wat game it is. Its doing great because...

~FW Sales were 28k and now its 65k. 2nd weeks drop was only 50% which is also good.

~Nintendo Game? Are all Nintendo games suppose to be some mega hit? Weird Comment i dont understand, its not a mario game or even a platformer for that matter...

~WiiU Game (nuff said)

~ New IP

Its doing well actually, im hoping for a 150k lifetime game, 100k+ is a lock.

Never was suppose to be comparable to a mario release^

"Carried by Nintendo/Mario Brand" doesn't mean as much as you think. Bravely Default for example didnt do super extraordinary sales like FF. That had the SE/FF Brand... :)

I never said it was and its not comparable to bravery default. Is bravery default a Final Fantasy spin off lead by one of the franchises key characters?
