Forums - Sony - Sony UK boss says: "The home of Street Fighter is PlayStation.

Sorry, but it's true. Capcom filled out a 'change of address' form and everything.

Kind of is now.

Natural home though.

Every single Street Fighter since 1995 has sold best on Playstation. Sounds like a natural home to me.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Not better than the amount they've sold to arcades.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Arcades still exist?

Street Fighter is homeless, Sony is just a shelter.

Warden of Platformers

PS is the home for fighting genre........ after arcades. Tekken could be said to be more PS oriented though because SF was on Nintendo systems first.

Japan it does, their are always people playing and spending money for just playing one match...   You make good money if people spend 50 cent for one match and play maybe at average 10 matches a week for a year..

Only the EX series can be considered a Playstation series.
Street Fighter as a whole cant be said to have PS as its "home", like other series have.
The whole III series even passed the PS consoles until a 2004 port of SF III: 3rd Strike.

That Sony guy must have thought he was talking about Tekken.

''Hadouken!''

I remember watching my roommate play the original Street Fighter on an arcade machine in the lobby of our college dorm. Then, its home was the "arcades." Now, is it PlayStation? You could reasonably make that argument.
