Meh.. I'm indifferent to the idea of Zelda having multiplayer! Even if such multiplayer mode would be implemented greatly, I still wouldn't care much.. :/

Nope, we don't need more games having tacked on multiplayer just for hell of it

Since the release of World of Warcraft I've toyed with the idea of a similar game set in Hyrule. World of Hyrule. That's the kind of multiplayer game I would like to see. In other words not something with death matches or capture the flag or anything simular to that.
Only if it were basically a completely different type of game; not with traditional Zelda controls. The Zelda game in Nintendo Land is a good example.
But there's just nothing about Zelda itself that lends well to the concept of multiplayer. And I'm fairly open to such things. I'm one of the few people that actually liked the multiplayer mode in Metroid Prime 2. But Zelda just doesn't have anything that makes it a good idea. That's why it would need to be a totally different experience, and when that's the case you have to wonder if it's getting made because the core concept was a good one or just because they wanted to make a multiplayer Zelda.

I don't think many people even played the multiplayer mode in Metroid Prime 2,
they should've just added bots like they did with Geist on the Gamecube.
Bots are what made it fun with even one player and no online for Geist.

I don't want multiplayer in a Zelda game. I'm just tired of multiplayer being shoe horned into games just to have it :(

Off topic, but I wanted a four swords sequel on the DS and 3DS because the series' top down camera fits well for handhelds and the systems have dual screens but all we got was a port. Now the GamePad has a screen but there's still no FourSword sequel...
If it's co-op that's integrated into the game really well and not just an afterthought, why not? If it's a half-assed attempt to put more content into the game, then no thanks. Too many games have that nowadays.
