Forums - Nintendo - UCraft looks so Amazing I can barely contain my excitement!!!!

Still not looking good to me. Oh well, I'll download the beta when it's released just for the lolz.

Oh wow it does look amazing... contender for game of the generation?

Looks fun to me. I doubt many people have even watched the video. Krafty cart :D They should keep everything blocky though. Craft of Thrones would be a good road for them to go down. Westerblox would sell well.

"this is not a clone"

bluff

It looks downright awful. The trailer is also annoying and pretentious. The developer hasn't got any taste, even considering it's a clone of Minecraft, the tasteless thing there is.

I'll give credit where due though; the idea of having a Minecraft style destructible block world, and then be able to 'import' gameplay styles eg kart racer, shooter, and then play in the levels you've made is quite cool.

Like a first person level designer.

However, it shouldn't look like a minecraft clone.

I don't know, I have mixed feelings on it. On one hand it seems to try to diversify itself from being a clone but at the same time, it just doesn't really interest me, but I'm going to wait until we get more gameplay before I make a decision.

It should look like minecraft because that is what is going to make them money!

My kid plays that battlecraft on 3DS for hours! They love it and this will sell a ton on Wii U. Probably more than shovel knight.

It may be a strong business argument, but it is literally the worse thing they can do from a consumer standpoint.

Why would I pay for the experience of a cheap Minecraft clone when I could have the full Minecraft experience?

If they've an interesting idea then they should develop their own, interesting, way of presenting it rather than ripping someone else off.

That's the worst trailer I have ever seen for a game.

The game itself looks decent. The trailer and the way it was presented was God awful.

The PaintSDK integration looks really promising

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
