I'll give credit where due though; the idea of having a Minecraft style destructible block world, and then be able to 'import' gameplay styles eg kart racer, shooter, and then play in the levels you've made is quite cool.

Like a first person level designer.

However, it shouldn't look like a minecraft clone.

It should look like minecraft because that is what is going to make them money!

My kid plays that battlecraft on 3DS for hours! They love it and this will sell a ton on Wii U. Probably more than shovel knight.

It may be a strong business argument, but it is literally the worse thing they can do from a consumer standpoint.

Why would I pay for the experience of a cheap Minecraft clone when I could have the full Minecraft experience?

If they've an interesting idea then they should develop their own, interesting, way of presenting it rather than ripping someone else off.
