Any game ported to a less powerful system needs "downgrading". However I'd love to see any examples you can provide of equalivalent technical software on other portable devices? Can't actually think of any huge Story Driven FPS games with Online Co-op on other devices.
Sony gave Capcom all they have. A shit tonne of debt, and the ability to loose a ridiculous amount of money. I'm suprised Capcom didn't give more in return for those extraordinary gifts!
/s ( it's sarcasm.... Partly...)

nothing it was an act of love.

More than likely they just agreed to publish it and pay for development. Similar deal to Nintendo monster hunter and MS dead rising 3.

That probably has something to do with your arguments being terrible.

But tomb raider is money hat by paying to take the PS4 and PC versions and only doing Xbox one and 360 versions. |
Yeah, cause it's not like MS is helping develop the game and pay for marketing and publishing or anything.

Skipping out on Xbox this gen will cost them millions of sales. They'd be pretty dumb to do so without some sort of compensation from Sony. Exclusivity for a huge franchise like Street Fighter is a big deal. Also, I'm not buying the whole cross play excuse. This isn't an MMO. there's no reason why Xbox gamers can't just play with themselves, like they've been doing for the past decade. |
We've been living in a global world for some time now. Isolation is a poor excuse to defend a company.
I recon they paid a few million, but told capcom they can have a larger chunk of the revenue when the game actually comes out.
Saying they 'funded' this and funded that is just spinning it.... lets face it, SF (as well as other games which capcom made exclusive) were not going to be killed off, they just want to profit from the war between the platform holders and get a better deal for themselves overall.

Yes, and Xbox is a global brand. Xbox users can play with eachother all over the world.
