It's hilarious that some people try to deny Sony has made any effort with Vita while they still are making tons of effort relative to its reception.

Because its 80% true, im not denying that Sony doesn't make an effort(with your previous statements), but too many its non existent, especially outside of japan.

Am i the only one who prefers this lineup to WiiUs 2015 lineup?

It depends if you like nintendo franchises. If not, then the Vita is better.....

That would pretty much be the only way. Even in you like the games for both systams, I think it would be hard to be more excited about games you can mostly get now on other consoles which consists of 90% of the titles here.

Even with those announced games there still just isn't that game that makes people say "I have to get a Vita". Nintendo on the other hand has a few games releasing next year that are going to give the console a boost in sales, Legend of Zelda being the main one. I can also see Star Fox moving some systems (if done right) and Xenoblade Chronicles X giving a small boost (though I don't see these two making any significant impact) keeping consoles sold in the hundreds of thousands with any luck. I could give a much better prediction of Star Fox's impact if they would show the freaking game off.

Like most of this year, I don't see the Vita even selling in the 100s of thousands at any consistant rate unless E3 (or some other gaming conference) shows something vasly more substantial to the Vita's library than what is already known.

It's not exactly fair to compare a few announcements made at one event to WiiU's entire library for the next year... Vita already had plenty of games coming in 2015 and now it has 16 more, not just 16.

It seems to me that people who say that are just uninformed and think 3rd parties magically gravitate to Sony systems (even though we're talking about systems like Vita...). How about just recognizing that Sony works very well with 3rd party devs and that DOES require an effort. If it DIDN'T require lots of effort, Nintendo wouldn't have been practically without 3rd party support in comparison generation upon generation.

Eh, Sony has also developed plenty of fantastic games on PSV (Uncharted, Killzone, Tearaway, Freedom Wars, Gravity Rush and more). Difference here is that Sony tries to get 3rd party games while Nintendo doesn't.

What is more? What is MORE?(No seriously What is MORE? I like to hear all the games pls) Also 3 years, not fair against WiiU's 2 Years....

Thank you, damn didn't realize sony did 80+ games.

They need to keep releasing Madden on Vita!!! Madden 13 on the Vita was so badass. It wasn't even that great of a Madden but being able to play that game on the go was f'in awesome.  I have played it countless times and still do regularly.  They did a great job on it.

They published them. Again, same argument as pezus. They didn´t really develop most of those and those they did, most are really lightweight games.

Publishing is funding development, particularly on a system like Vita. That is no different at all to the people doing the development being on salaried on your internal development staff. The games wouldn't have happened without Sony's involvement and funding.

Surprisingly, even ports don't just grow on trees.

I suspect the lack of FIFA, Assassin's Creed, COD etc on 3DS and Wii U is far less down to 3rd party spite than many would think.

I agree with that, that was also my point though. Sony are making an effort, just not the one tbone was referring to. Specifically, 1st party developed games.

After Killzone Mercenary and Tearaway's sales, I can't say I blame them for giving up on their own IPs, they clearly don't hold enough clout.

If Nintendo was any other company, their 1st party content would suffer similarly on a handheld. (I doubt Gears of War and Halo would shift many Xbox Portables, if one existed for example).

I guess this is why 1st party has become such a key issue with Nintendo fans. 3rd party is by far a bigger driver of hardware and software sales on their rivals.
