Yeah, his statement wasn't detailed enough to draw conclusions from it. Still, it's insanely impressive how PS4 is pretty much equal to the Wii when so many people expected the Wii to be way ahead by this point.

No im sure he isnt lying. Im just saying that if you want hard figures then you need to know the exact parameters Sony is using to come to their conclusion.

Extrapolating on extrapolated numbers from a statement made a seperate source doesnt make too much sense imo.

The Wii figures may have been overtracked, alternatively.

That being said, it is certainly (very) possible.

Most likely it is vgc (that is wrong). And therefore we should not extrapolate the numbers based off of their estimates.

Or both could be telling the truth. Who knows until someone gives hard numbers and the date the received the numbers, because as of September Financial reporting PS4 was the highest selling console. 

I can't possibly imagine, that he would use such "old" numbers during the keynote. It would be very unprofessional.

What makes this even more irritating is that, VGC had the guts to adjust PS4's numbers down two weeks in a row - 200-300k if i'm not mistaken.

Guys, don't take the estimations here so seriously. Every NPD we see disparity so under what circumstances would VGC be spot on?

What actual concrete evidence is there that it is undertracked by at least 475k.... That's what I'm interested in.

The numbers are most likely off, but to throw out a number is just as reckless.
