PS4's unparalleled sales are really crushing VGC's tracking calculations. lol

This site has consistently undertracked the PS4 by wider and wider margins over time. I'm interested in where they're messing up, but both the internal Sony data and VGC's estimation methodology are hidden in too much shadow to be sure.

That is less than 5%... even if the error is from the last 4 months since the 10mi mark it´s 10%, good job VGChartz.

We don't know what timeframe Layden is using figures from.

No you claiming that PS4 is undertracked...but this is all relative to the Wii figures provided by Vgc. If the PS4 figure is out then how do you know the Wii figure isnt out as well? If the actual Wii figure is 15.5 mil for that point in time, then it might well be that PS4 is overtracked, but still fastest selling. This should prove my point.

Well Wii figures are much more set in stone since they are older and have had adjustments according to official numbers.

OT: Disappointed they didn't say a number but glad that PS4 is still the fastest selling console ever!

All we have here on this site is VGC numbers, so of course I used them? I don't understand what it is you're not getting.

A lot more than for PS4 though. We have numbers from Nintendo, NPD and shipments.

I would see the irony if the Wii numbers weren't accepted as close to spot on
