Marth looked ugly, no one cares about wii fit trainer and the Villager is a bit of a surprise but I guess hes not really that iconic

Not surprising at all.
They said that some amiibos will be only available for a short time.
They have to make room for the next wave that already releases in 2 weeks.
I pretty much expected this.
Will be the same for the following waves as well.
