What I find comical that 2. people think that the PS4 will do anywhere near what the PS1 or PS2. The competitive landscape is vastly different and I dont believe that year over year it will double the X1 sales. I also find it comical that people think the Wii U will make any sort of comeback.

  1. What about anything going on in the market right now makes you think that the XB1 will ultimately win US and UK. You basing this all off its performance in one or two months of the year? So the PS4 outselling the XB1 every single month of their first year on the market and generating a 1M plus lead (before november) in the XB1s strongest market has not proved anything for you? Or you somehow have it in your head that the xbox is somehow the bigger preferred brand simply from its performcance last gen? Thing is, nothing about the past or the present lends any credance to your theory. 
  2. So lets see, the PS4 has so far started off being the fastest seling console ever. EVER. And from all indications, will end 2014 having sold over 20-21M consoles. All in its first year on the market, without any major system selling games and at the most expensive it will ever be this generation. Yet you somehow believe that it won't even break 100M in sales (which will put it on par with PS1 performance). And then you say you don't see it doubling the XB1 sales, as it stands its practically already doubling XB1 sales and this is all in the first year. Again, nothing you are saying is making any kinda realistic sense, sounds more like the ramblings of a fan in denial. Cause you are not showing one fact or point that will back any of your claims.
I am calling it now, and this may end up being a surprise to some, the XB1 will not break more than 50M in sales by the end/start or this gen/next gen respectively. And teh PS4 will have sold at least double whatever the XB1 sells in that time period. And unlike you, I can back what i am saying with numbers and facts.

Most definitely. It'll be close in the US, but the PS4 has a very impressive lineup for 2015 that it'll widen the gap.

LOL a lot of people won't.  It will be on PC just like the other one.  Plus there is no gauruntee of a "Minecraft 2"  there may be something but I wouldn't assume it will be a direct sequel just yet.

Also there is no need for another one.  This one is perfect and continues to get massive updates.  Minecraft 2 has mod support so it is already better than its sequel.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

The X1 only needs to win the US and UK to create balance in the gaming world because Sony seems to have everything in lockdown everywhere else. (Except China)

I don't think that Microsoft's shareholders will be too pleased about Microsoft spending more money, considering that Microsoft's already lost a good amount of money just by lowering the price to $350 along with giving away free games.

Once PS4 officially releases in China, it'll overtake Xbox One there as well. Chinese gamers seem to be more interested in the PS4 than with Xbox One.

I think the PS4 will just break 100 million, the Xbox will be around 70 or 80...similar to the 360. Wii U will end with 40.
