One of the reasons why I said this was probably less about an exchange of cash than an agreement about support.

Making a deal to let a platform holder handle advertising for you can be quite valuable when you have cash-flow problems. 

even if this is real, will probably just a timed exclusive like Rise of the Tomb Raider for XB1...

They provided enough to get it moving and made, they also didn't want to alienate the PC gaming Japanese, Korean and Chinese markets. They are too big.

I hope this exclusivity because PS4 selling well or because Japanese corporate deal, not because the deal behind the table.

If it's because of some money hats deal i hope this kind of old tradition will be gone in the future, i don't want SONY following what Microsoft did like on the past.

But i am sure PS4 position is not like what happen 7 years ago, PS4 is deserved to get exclusive by the sales it self.

SCEJ are co-developing Deep Down with Capcom and that game is coming to PC too. Maybe SONY wants to make some money out of the PC versions.
