Over 3m this year seems a given.

Maybe if they bring out the 2DS over there, do a small pricedrop on the 'New' models, and a massive one on both originals, as well as bring out a handful of very big hitters (the latter seems unlikely, as there won't be a new MH I guess, and it seems too early for a new Pokemon game, unless they're turning that into an annual franchise. Yokai Watch 3 is the only really massive game I'd see coming out in Japan in 2015. Xenoblade will do ok imo, but nothing spectacular. There might be Layton 7, which won't see astonishing sales either I think. Dragon Quest XI isn't coming until 2016. We've already got a Mario Kart, 3D Mario and NSMB game, Animal Crossing and Zelda...)

Looks like it will hit it! Tbf to the 3DS it is reaching that magic 20m in Japan which very few consoles have actually passed. It's decline is no shame at all, and 3m in its fourth year is no easy feat! (the PSP for example managed 3m+ only two times after release).

Nintendo now have to look at the West to get some good numbers, and the N3DS should help stop the decline for the 3DS. I even think the new enhanced 3D can give the console new life (maybe more wishful thinking).

Looks like it should reach 3 million this year. It should get by 20 million LTD in 2015 or 2016, which is really going to depend on how 2015 goes especially since I am unsure how many big hitters 2015 actually has.

3m will be easily reached. 18m not.

 Its Currently 17.44mil. It'll hit at least 250k more in the next 2 weeks so lets say thats 17.70mil.

Needs to sell 2.3mil in 2015 to hit 20mil Sold. The decline this year was big though N3DS helped it from being under 2.5mil. I think if Nintendo presents some N3DS games or game feat only, then N3DS can move.

If they want that 20mil, i suggest pokemon amiibo cards ready for next holiday :0
