To honour the day, I dusted off my good ol' PS1 and connected it to my old black triniton TV.

It's alive! And even my cheap third-party memory-card still works like a charm.

On the right side of my PS1 you can see a sticker which helped me remember which kind of save games are on which memory bank. ;)

To be frank, I prefer my PS1 classics nowadays on the tiny screen of my Vita instead of big pixels on the tv screen.

Please Sony... put "Blazing Dragons" in the PS Store!

We've come a long way in 20 years.

Such good memories with that console. I remember that in order for some games to work I had to put my PS1 upside down... and it worked!

Happy Birthday, PlayStation. I'll never forget playing Gran Turismo 2 for the first time and having no memory card for 2 weeks. Good times.

the PS1 boot up theme for the ps4 is a perfect way to bring up memories,s so glad they put it out lol
