Forums - Gaming - Wii U over tracked in France

i dont think that nintendo can track the data better than tracker anywere in europe, they dont sale directly to the most shops. and the trackers dont have the data in 2 days, not in france^^

Well then from where do they know the sales of ORAS and the 3DS boost?

I'll tell you: Nintendo France Know EXACTLY how many units they shipped in France, and they also estimate the numbers they really sold. I'm also sure they already got the first estimates from GfK.

Numbers in here are up at the end of November. (See my other post, top of page2).

Prediction: End of 2015 Hardware sales (as of January 20, 2015)

Wii U: 12.1M | XBO: 19.8M | PS4: 36.0M | 3DS: 58.5M | PSV: 11.7M

Yes, because the Wii U has sold exactly 150k YTD and 450k LTD. They cut the French off after their 50k allotments are met, and don't allow them access to more until another 50k are pre-ordered. It's a rough deal over there.

it says nowhere end of november or a date, so it could be well on track

Why wouldn't the number be at the end of November when the article was posted today?

round numbers? and i doubt they have the last week, they have to use trackers too.

I agree with you dear!E.g 1m ps4 in Germany was posted on 19th of November and the number was as of 21th October...!

imagine  he said quatre-cent-soixante-sept mille neuf-cent-neuf, what a clusterfuck,  quatre-cent-cinquante mille . is better, not good, but better

It's within the marginal error 10%.

And probably still will be when the next numbers go up on VGChartz, too.

In fairness, it's the 3rd of December and this article wasn't written, edited and published over night maytched by the doubt of Nintendo having exact sales figures to a T within 2 days of the end of November.

But the trackers would have last weeks numbers, which is what this article would be using.

So that might not bring it to the end of November, and you're making assumptions about what trackers they are using and the dates that are included anyway. Plus, they're using round figures. It's an estimate, as is VGChartz, and the difference isn't that bad.

if its tracked directly in france, there is no way they have the data of last week.  friday is just a half workday saturday is weekend, monday is strikeday, thursday is the day the talk to eachother about the weekend and every 2nd wednesday is washing day, so we are lucky if vgz data arnt just made up like other numbers from france...

heh, I tried arguing that for one of Microsoft's reports once. People didn't want to hear it, so I wish you luck

Meh, most if not all of the data at this point is just speculation, just like the black friday "data" we saw a few days ago. I'm just happy that consoles and gaming machines are selling well, while also being sad that so many fanboys make us all look stupid by acting so childish about their mommy console.

And we just had a thread a few days ago saying that the WiiU might be undertracked in France!

Ah right I remember that thread! Everyone was agreeing with  the OP but then I came saying it was either on-spot or overtracked ( See: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=194177&page=2#10 ) but nobody replied, thread died :/ Even though I said it wasn't only Wii U but pretty much all consoles over here that are like that...

Heh.. You were the only unbeliever in that thread and nobody noticed! How unfortunate!
