Are you getting a hard on for Xbox or Rare these days, or a bit of both? For Banjo to get higher sales than the highest Mario game xb one would at least triple the install base of Wii U AND sell more than 5 million. Mk8 has a lock on total sales north of 5 million before it stops selling. My guess is roughly 1/3 of all future Wii U buyers will buy MK8.

Nope. No way that will happen. Banjo on X1 would sell 1-2m copies, that's it.

Currently even COD can't outsell top selling Mario on WiiU. On X1/Ps4 - any of them. And you're saying Banjo Kazooie, the game only some gaming freaks remember about will do it?

I'm pretty sure that the main audience for the 360 and the XBone is not that interested in cartoony platformers, unlike the nintendo fans.

5 million? I am thinking more like 500K. It's a franchise from the past that should be left in the past, along with many others that are continually rumored to be resurrected. Leave those games be, and give us new IPs.

I believe many XboxOne owners do not have memories of the original Banjo Kazooie game. Heck.... I even think that the kind of audience that would love that game is not on the XboxOne userbase. Maybe if it was launched for WiiU or PS4....
