Even if it was a masterpiece, I highly doubt. SM3DW is around 4M now. Banjo doesn't see a game in years. All this time renders the franchise mostly irrelevant, it wouldn't sell a lot.

The adults won't buy it was for a Nintendo system originaly so they won't play it for nostalgia. The kids won't play it because the only system where kids actualy play kids games is the Wii U (and 3DS). So who would buy it?
It really depends on how they market it. If they advertise it alot and make it a game that adults and kids can like then it can probably reach 4-6m. I see it hitting around 2M tops since XB1 is mainly an adult console. However a Conker game could sell about 5M copies if they ever make another one.
