Isn't this really just another promotion from MS to get you signed up to their rewards program then anything else. I do not think this has anything to do with MCC problems but instead is another loss leader type of deal where MS is using one of their solid franchises to get people signed up to more promotions and deals they can sell you for profit.

but that's doing pretty badly for them, no? last i checked it hadn't even broken 400k. of course that's retail, but still.

Well, it is a new IP on a console that has only sold 7ish million up til now. 400k is a solid number, which will go up over the next few months.

Not really it was a two day sale on the digital version.  Where the day one digital edition was $10 dollars off and the delux edition was $15 dollars off.  If they where giving it away it would be less then $30 dollars already instead of $49.99.

You're not, you have to have purchased it in December from Microsoft. Same problem I'm having, actually. Got a bundle on black friday from MS store, so just barely missed it.

btw what bundle did you get? You said in the summer that you were getting the COD bundle but considering the prices of the AC Unity bundle, it seems like a much better deal.
