No games is said metaphoricaly, not literally and im sure everybody is aware of this.  When people are saying "no games" they are talking about games that are notable or really  good.   When we talk about that, the list considerably shrinks.  Do we really care about games like Flockers or Oddball?  Do we even know what they are actually?  No, we care about games like InFamous and Bloodeborn

Its like this, Ouya has over 1000 games.  Did you know that?  But how many are actually interesting?  That number considerably shrinks.  The same can be said about ios and mobile games where there are thousands of games being released a day.  If all you want is the most games to release on a device, then you might as well be playing mobile games

With that said, the PS4 is looking to have a strong year next year.

No notable games is still bullcrap. A Forza, a Halo Remake, a new Infamous, Sunset Overdrive, a new IP from Bungie, the new Dragon Age, first Wolfenstein game in 5 years, 2 Lego games, another LBP, plus all the usual yearly releases in FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K, CoD and an Assassin's creed. 

All notable as far as many are concerned. What does the industry expect? GTA6 less than after the release of 5? I wonder if they rate their gaming years on which year GTA comes out.

What im saying is youre aware of what people mean when giving that statement and it gets just as old hearing the sarcasm surrounding it as it is hearing it.  And giving some list of games nobody has heard of or people just dont care about doesnt say much.  I dont think i got a ps4 for Crimsom land, whatever that is

As for PS4 having good games, they certainly have a lot of good multiplat games.  I dont think their exclusives have been that strong in the first year though.  And that is just my opinion, not a fact, nor will i claim it as a fact.  I dont like InFamous so i ignored it.  Killzone was a big dissapointment to me, so much so i couldnt even push myself to finish it.  I havent got to play LBP3 yet but i am hoping i like it.

As i said though, next year looks A LOT better with games like Bloodborne, Persona 5, No Man's Sky, Uncharted, etc  That is a good looking year

Which brings us back to the fact that different people have different opinions. There are some high value games listed, and some small games but with fun gameplay and interesting artstyle. I think we agree that people with "no games" statement can't look beyond their narrow vision, which is kind of sad to see in the industry.

I have seen the statement used a lot not in metaphorical way. It shouldn't be hard to spot really.

I believe both views to a degree are narrow minded because both parties understands what the other means but refuses to acknowledge it. I do believe its always metaphorical though.

I am right regardless, what youre describing is just a wish for people to clarify its their own opinion. Which, given the alternative is that they would be trying to say there are literally zero PS4 games ever made, it should be blatantly obvious. Getting worked up over that would be like getting worked up over someone not putting "imo" after they say Two and a Half Men is an amazing show.

You might want them to put "imo" after that, but them not putting it there doesnt change what they are trying to say. Your personal etiquette for communication doesnt override theirs.
