On the one hand I want to agree with everyone that the community levels make the main story less necessary. But then on the other hand the fact that content can be created easily makes me feel like they should have included more main story anyway, because it would have barely taken any more effort.

Bigger Question, who buys Little Big Planet for the single player campaign? There's a very good level creator in this game that you can spend hours on and over 5 million user created levels to play with thousands of them being very good and some are way better than the levels in single player...
This is like buying a Call of Duty game and being annoyed over the short single player. Not the focus. Go download some amazing usermade levels, there's thousands of them from just LBP1 and LBP2 alone. Now you get to see what everyone creates with LBP3.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
Guessing you haven't played a LBP game but its not about the campaign. The campaign is basically a tutorial on how the mechanics work, there are millions of user levels which is the real draw of the game. There is pretty much unlimited content.
Played LBP, LBP PSP, LBP2 and LBP VITA and the story never surpassed the 5h mark I think. First I play alone, then the story with friends (for the stickers and everything) and then usually we spend dozens of hours online.
Stories unfolded with my home made rap songs. Feel free to listen here with lyrics: https://youtu.be/vyT9PbK5_T0
Because while everyone else was creating the same big game, they were creating something small. It said so in the ad
XBOX ONE/Wii U/3DS/PC
