| LudicrousSpeed said: You might want to tell Miyazaki that Sony created Bloodborne, as he gives interviews talking about his inspiration for the setting of the game and his decisions about certain gameplay elements. Doesn't really sound like Sony created the IP at all, sounds more like Sony paid someone to make a game. Which, of course, is fine. But it's just funny to see you crap on one company for doing it and then throwing out two games for PS4 that are not first party. The bold is funny to me, it's like you're admitting to being ignorant on the matter and almost proud to take flawed input from people as opposed to someone who plays the game every day. Also, I'm just gonna throw it out that you're talking out of your butt about "countless players" and "many xbox players" telling you the game is dead. Either way, since you're admitting they probably "play the less popular gamemodes", maybe stop treating the testimony of these make believe forum members as Gospel? You can take the "less popular game modes" of any game online game and say the community must be struggling. |
Sony filed the trademark for the bloodbourne IP after they approached him to make a game for them. They didn't go and pay a boat load of money for a game like tomb raider to become exclusive. I'm not crapping on anybody, i'm pointing out how MS doing it is not good for the industry as they could easily do what Sony did and create a new game with said money. They could have been the pnes releasing bloodbourne this spring. But no the spend their money just to delay a platform getting it. That's reality and common practice with MS.
I play the less popular game modes on BF and get games no problem. The countless people are there for you to see. Hundreds of posts on neogaf. I'll take their word over two people on here. They basically said unless your going for the main game mode (attrition i think) then you will have issues. Also kinda proves my point about it being barebones when it's multiplayer mainly and the majority only consider 1 game mode to be good. The player count also a joke with online bots (lol).
I'm not the one talking out my butt.
"Also,
And it worked, by the way. As I said before I only play LTS, probably middle of the pack in terms of player count, and over the last week or so as stores have had pre-BF and BF sales and the digital sales, the playlist has routinely been in the hundreds of players just on my server. Always full rooms. Never waiting for it to find a game. The funny thing about this quote is you're proving Pugg's point without even realizing it. So Titanfall wouldn't have had a price cut if it sold well enough, and Infamous is still a "good bit more expensive". And yet.. Titanfall on Xbone has outsold Infamous, even with the huge install base difference. So if Titanfall is getting prices slashed due to poor sales, shouldn't Infamous be even lower priced do to lower sales? Or just maybe you're wrong and don't understand that online only games require different strategies to keep the (required) player base stimulated and playing? And at the same time, there's no need for Sony to drop the price of Infamous because of (apparently) low sales. If I buy Infamous today, there could be literally 3 other people in the world playing and it wouldn't affect my experience one bit. But 3 other people playing Titanfall, that's different."
I'm npt surprised it picked up a bit recently considering the game being sold at bargain bin prices. Makes sense tbh. Titanfall was way overhyped and it's sales were very front loaded. It's also been given away for free the month it released and it's the biggest X1 bundle. You're forgetting that a shit ton of it's sales were at a very heavy discount. Infamous has for a fact made more profit than titanfall. Nowhere near bunlded as much and even though it was price double what titanfall was for black friday it was selling a lot more than titanfall X1. The reality is the game is being bought more at a higher price.
Just so you know there are many games that need a busy online to thrive yet years later they are still sold for more than titanfall. The 10$ pC thing was obvious desperation and the 12$ X1 the same. I know it's hard to acceot that after all the hype it's completely fizzled out into the bargain bin. The difference between me and you is i can accept that's the case for a ps4 game called killzone but your rose tinted glasses are affecting you from being partial with regards TF.
