-Slightly better graphics?  I don't even know where to start on how wrong that is.

-It has 30 Player multiplayer which is a big deal in an MMO-like online game.

-It has a ton more music, missions, and cars.

-It even has a fully fleshed out first person mode.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT!!!   But you are blind if you can't see why other's are.

Why?  It deserves it more than COD does, then again who are we to decide what succeeds?

It has an engrossing story filled with tons of hilarious moments and intelligent social comentary.  Thank god it is doing well.  I APPLAUD humanity.

But releasing it on next-gen is a very sensible thing to do, especially for GTA Online. Any game released late in the gen should get a next gen port, because with no backwards compatibility, why not?

I haven't actually bought any next gen remasters, but I'm look for V or the Last of Us cheap, because I'd happily replay those games in more glorious HD

It's not overrated. It's a masterpiece and one of the very few instances where sales, critics and players agree it is.

The amount of hours of fun and content is unmatched, and the additions to the new version great. Well worth spending more than on your average $60 game.

I disagree, first person mode changes EVERYTHING, heck even the controls change, the cover system also changes and makes the perspective during shooting segments a lot different, in fact FPS mode can either make a mission more challenging, races are different, driving through country side in a Monster truck is different, sky diving in FPS mode alone is amazing, have you even played the game?

Not to mention that the game runs at a better framerate than their last gen counterparts, as well as a 30-player GTA Online experience being available from the get go and including every single update Rockstar has done in the past year on PS3/360 which includes more missions, flight school, houses to buy, cars, etc...

Also what makes you assume everyone and their mothers bought the game last year?

Yes the sales of GTA V last year were massive but still, that's not everybody in the gaming world, in my case my backlog last year was pretty big so I didn't get the game on PS3.

For some people currently playing on X1/PS4, Next Gen GTA V is their first experience with the game and I'm glad Rockstar decided to further improve this game.

It's better than CoD, I'll give it that, but you give it way too much credit. I'm not impressed by the story. I don't think it's that funny. The social commentary is there, and it's intelligent at times, but nothing that hasn't been done before. Don't get me wrong, the game doesn't deserve to flop, but the sales for it and The Last of Us should be flipped.

I agree. Games like TLOU and GTA5 did not deserve a re-release this soon.

Games like Skyrim and mass effect, wich are games that would greatly benefit from a remaster from a gameplay point of view (loadings and fps) i am in favor though. Just for the eye candy, its a waste of time and money.

Okay sure, but first-person mode, tell me. Does it change the actual game at its core? Besides a different point to play, it does not make the game better or worse, it doesn't add or remove any content, it doesn't unlock anything special, it doesn't change how the game is, it is just a camera movement. 

And that camera movement made GOTY 10/10 5 stars... Wow consumers, I'm ashamed...

Yeah what a rip-off, i had to pay $70 to play an updated and improved version of one of my favorite games of all time, i feel so ripped off. /s

Seriously though i really missed playing this game after my Ps3 broke, but according to you it's stupid for me to buy this for 70$ to enjoy again, would have been smarter to buy a new Ps3 for 250$ and the last gen version for $40? Then i would have only had to pay $290 to play it again, why didnt i think of that?
There's tons of reasons for people to buy this game again; sold Ps3 for Ps4, skipped it at the end of last gen because were saving for this gen, favorite game that they haven't gotten tired of and wanted to play on new console, last gen console broke, or just because they wanted to.

I don't understand people who think that just because something doesn't make sense to them or they have no use for it that it's stupid for other people to want, like or enjoy it, it sold that many copies for a reason. If you don't want it fine, but let other people enjoy it.

Do you know how stressful it is when people make fun of games like WindWaker HD and Pokemon ORAS when they're actual remakes that took time to age and then they buy a PS4 solely for the bundle with GTA V and TLOUR even though they complained about both of those titles on PS3 and liked the first 2 games mentioned?
