While it may seem stupid now, I don't think anyone knew at the time what would have happened.  If Sony ended up not being successful and Nintendo's secret partnership with Philips were to somehow have been fruitful, the way people treat it would probably be much different.  Though in the end, what Nintendo did here isn't honest and it's not easy to sympathize with them.  The reason why they did it may be understandeable, but in the end Nintendo probably should have not broken any promises. 


Thats is true. They should just have told Sony that the deal was off.

How is the Wii U worse than the virtual boy? and shunning 3rd party should be ahead of the Wii U as that is probably one of the main reason why the Wii U is failing. Also, the 3DS was not a mistake, the 3DS is doing rather well.

The WiiU was already better than the VB at launch....actually it was better a day before the launch..

i dont think so, this list ws created to make the creater and the side it was published on bad. 

if u wanna bash nintendo, atleast take the time to google some stuff. every c&p monkey could make a better list with some wiki artikels...

How exactly is the Wii U a bigger failure than the Virtual Boy? The Virtual Boy didn't even last a year on store shelves.
